I needed a new power supply and thought I would invest in the Rockboard ISO Power Block V9 IEC.
The reason being is I had a Rockboard with the mod 1 patch bay, the IEC connection seemed to be better and stronger than the flimsy 18v adapter cable I was using.
The robustness of the ISO Power Block V9 IEC is brilliant, and works exactly how it should… but, I use a Rockboard Tres 4.1 and the Power block doesn’t fit underneath, and doesn’t fit on the tray either.
Eventually, I have use the tray to shield the power block, and velcroed the power block to the underside of the board.
I have had to cautiously thread the IEC lead through the middle spindle of the board. Just remember to measure the area and ensure it fits before you purchase, plan where you are going to put it.
Apart from the above, the Power block works seamlessly and the IEC connections are a bit more solid.
As a UK customer, Thomann even supplied me with a UK IEC powerlead too.
I use Thomann to buy all my Rockboard accessories as the customer service is second to none, and the inventory of stock they have is amazing.
The Rockboard ISO Power Block V9 IEC is definitely worth buying.
