I just received the guitar and I've been playing it for an hour.
First thing, this is the first guitar EVER that arrived in tune out of the box... and I own 16.
The neck is flawless, the frets are leveled and well rounded, intonation is ok, the action works for me, the bridge is stable, after doing dive bombs and all it's still in tune, I'm impressed. So, no setup... that's a first for me.
Pickups: I own 2 other guitars with Fishmans, the old 2 sounds ones. These ones add the single coil option, that's nice, still have to explore it. The only complaint is that the cover is the cheapest plastic one, uglier than the others I own.
The finish is gorgeous but if you look against the light you can see a couple of little imperfections but you really have to look very hard. Works for me.
Finally some comments mentioned that the switch was inverted, mine is ok, down bridge, up neck, no problem.

The guitar is very light and confortable to play, very happy with the purchase. I haven't played any Strandberg but I doubt anything can justify paying 4 times the price...

Great specs for the features - shame about the quality control

Bought the guitar to test the waters of the headless guitar world at a more wallet-friendly price, most likely the exact same reason others are looking at it.

The price for these amount of features is unrivaled, however, mine came with big quality issues that could not be resolved - a great shame, because apart from these, it sounded, looked and played incrediblem and it pained me to return the guitar.

Issues I had:
-Several high frets
-Intonation on 2 of the strings was way off and could not be fixed by using the maximum range that the saddles allowed + truss rod adjustment
-The pickup selector switch was wired backwards (pointing towards the fretboard selected the bridge pickup, pointing towards the bridge selected the neck pickup) and the wires did not have enough slack to simply unscrew and adjust the selector correctly

Maybe I just received a rare example of poor quality, but these issues were unacceptable for a new guitar and therefore was returned.

Diese Gitarre bietet alles was ich in einem Instrument gesucht habe: Ergonomisches Design, kopflos und dadurch sehr leicht, kompakt und im Stehen leicht zu spielen, da sich das Gewicht mehr in Richtung Korpus verteilt. Somit kein Neck Dive. Durch die minimalistische „Kopfplatte“ kann sie dennoch in einem entsprechenden Wandhalter aufgehangen werden. Der 5 teilige Hals spielt sich sehr angenehm und die verbauten Fishman Fluence Modern Tonabnehmer bieten vielseitigen Sound, von rauen Klängen im Higainmodus bis hin zu leichten im Splitmodus. Die schwebende Tremolobrücke ist stimmstabil und kam perfekt intoniert an. Die Ultra Gold/Fuchsia Chamäleon Lackierung ist fantastisch. Insgesamt ist die Verarbeitung meines Exemplars ausgezeichnet. Die Bundstäbchen sind alle gleich hoch und es gibt keine abstehenden Enden.
Aufgrund vermehrt aufkommender Kritik der Qualitätskontrolle von Hils hatte ich Sorge, ein mangelhaftes Instrument erhalten zu können. Daher habe ich den Thomann Qualitätscheck Service dazugebucht und möchte diesen nebenbei wärmstens empfehlen. Die Gitarre wurde ausgiebig inspiziert und kam optimal eingestellt bei mir an. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Cette guitare n’est pas parfaite…elle est plus que parfaite !!!

Certes elle n’est pas exempte de petits défauts minimes… franchement sans importance pour moi :
Des micro pétouilles sur la finition de la touche (lors du frettage me semble t’il, le ponçage et vernis du manche qui pourrait être un peu mieux…
Le vernis est top, il semble bien épais et la couleur évoluant entre cuivre, or, fuschia et bronze est de toute beauté (les photos ne lui rendent pas justice).
Les micros : Fishmann Fluence Moderne 3 voies… à eux seuls ils justifient
L’achat - allez voir dans la section micros…
J’ai choisit cette guitare à 50 % pour ces micros formidables
(Évidemment si on aime les sons typés modernes…amateur de vintage ce n’est pas pour vous…)
L’ergonomie est remarquable : avec une sangle elle annonce 2,7 kilos sur la balance.
On voit bien de quel côté elle s’inspire (voir Plini et autres)
Pour ma part après presque 50 ans de guitare, j’ai développé pas mal de soucis au niveau de mon dos, des articulations et tendons. Je cherchais une guitare légère et ergonomique sans avoir le budget pour une Strandberg… alors quand j’ai vu l’annonce et le prix ( 1/4 du prix d’un modèle high end, je me suis dit que je ne risquais pas grand chose et le satisfait ou remboursé chez Thomann c’est très sécurisant.
J’ai cette guitare depuis 5 jours… dès que possible je commande un autre exemplaire pour être certain de ne pas rêver…bref vous avez compris que je vous conseille vivement cet instrument.
Désolé de la longueur du commentaire, et merci aux filles du département guitare qui ont permis que cette « beauty » arrive en 23h chrono !
