I was looking for an alto saxophone that I would never have to upgrade, and I truly believe I made the right choice in that sense. The only befitting upgrade would be a new mouthpiece.
I am completely satisfied with the response, sound and quality! (I have experience in advance with Bb-clarinet so in somewhat of a sense I new what I was looking for in these aspects and with that reason I never cared to try out several types of altos)

So if you are looking for a somewhat cheaper alto which at the same time is reliable and satisfying, do not hesitate on a Yamaha YAS-62S 04!
