I have been avoiding to get this for a few years (using standalone stands instead), but I caved in. It works and fits on my Yamaha CP33, but there was no manual on how to fit it to the piano. This might feel like a no-brainer since it is just connected to two holes on the back of the piano, but in my case, there seems to be some magnetic lock thing on the stand which I am guessing is part of the securing mechanism for later models, but they have nothing to attach to on my model. And since no manual was included which explains this it left me to feel "ok it works, but am I missing something?".
It does fit securely though, but there was no confident "click in and lock" feel to it, which is disappointing for a product prized like this.
Also, the height was smaller of the stand than I could gather from the product pictures, so you might want to look closer at the size specs.
The amazing Yamaha CP series deserves more than this and it does not feel like Yamaha have thought much about their customers in this case.
