Fantastic Light!

This light is great for a wide range of uses. I have used it for uplighting, foot light/side light, and rigged on a lighting stand. The dual yoke makes it perfect for floor standing, but it has also got a hole for mounting a hook clamp etc for rigging - which is very useful! I put a 500w MFL lamp in it, and it was plenty to light up my living room. You would need an adapter (or to wire on a new plug) to use it in most dimmers (in the UK anyway) - but that is no issue! It's a great product at a great price - and I haven't found anything better elsewhere!

Good quality PAR 64 cans. very strong rugged construction, nice thick square filter holder frame, HO7 rubber cable, even safety wire fixed with high quality hardware fixed to the can. Ceramic socket of good quality and wiring ceramic block enclosed in it's own metal protection block and cable all insulated in fibre glass sleeving. a couple of suggestions to thomann to improve this would be silicon cable instead of HO7 rubbber, less ventilation holes in the back of the can as this leaks a lot of unwanted light spill especially if used in a theatre, also means to adjust PAR lamp by rotating knob or PARsafe, other wise can't complain a bout these units for price, very good quality in comparision with more exspensive James Thomas PARs, another high quality product from the thomann range

l'achat de ce produit était principalement pour assurer une puissance lumineuse en architectural (avec des lampes faisceaux serrés CP60 !) : le résultat est au rendez-vous.

Parmi les 6 produits commandés, un ne fonctionnait pas (défaut de connection ?), mais le SAV Thomann a été fidèle à sa réputation et en a renvoyé un immédiatement.

Un bémol à signaler : si vous utilisez des gélatines, celles-ci chauffe assez vite et vous oblige à les changer régulièrement (toutes les 15 heures d'utilisation environ).
Normal pour une puissance de 1000W !

professionelle Floor-Spots

Die thomann-Hausmarke-Floorspots sind gut verarbeitet und brauchen den Vergleich mit Marken-Floor-Spots nicht zu scheuen.

Leider hat sich mein erstes Leuchtmittel beim Anschluss direkt verabschiedet.
(Kombination: Raylight Reflektor für PAR 64 GY16D auf Gy9,5 Sockel für A1 Lampe 500 Watt Lampe, OMNILUX 500 W A1 GY9,5 LAMPE).

Im Vergleich zu LED-Spots sind die klassischen Raylights immer noch am Besten, was die Lichtausbeute angeht. Zudem gibt es laut meinem Informationsstand leider keine günstigen LED-Spots, die Near-Flood (NFL) strahlen können.

Das heißt für eine professionelle atmosphärische Beleuchtung, sind die hier angebotenen "Stairville PAR 64 Floor Spots" genau die richtigen. In Verbindung mit der zum Event passenden LEE-Farbfolie immer noch nicht von LED-Kannen schlagbar - meiner Meinung nach.
