Rather disappointed in this one, it leaks through signal when turned all the way down when wired as a volume pot (wired like Shadow says is should be on their website).
Its not a big problem for someone who plays at home or just wants it as a gadget but I feel like it should atleast do the very basic function of a volume pot which it does not.
-I assumed my first one was broken but they seem very uneven in quality. The first one I got is much easier to turn but leaks through more of the signal when turned down.
-I wired a normal 500k pot into the guitar just to test and it works just fine with no leak.
-Second pot it a bit more resistance to turn but still leaks through signal from the pickups although not as much as the first one.
Should be noted that this is in a fully copper shielded guitar as well.
In conclusion, just like someone else said. If you really want a good function kill switch that feels reliable and works as it SHOULD. Then put a dedicated one into your guitar instead of this one. Sad but true
