The taper of how it turns the audio signal down is quite weird and sudden.
For example, instead of going from 100% to 0% by going through everything in between, it will go from 100% to 80% and then jump to 30% and stay there for a while before 0. If you are building or fixing a good guitar, go with the Fender pots instead.
