My rating is purely based on my experience for my use case.
I play travel gigs at weddings and festivals. I've been using a very nice Dekavalas tetrachordo for many years but I needed a second instrument for the outdoor festival gigs in less than ideal conditions. The Matsikas has a truss rod which gives me peace of mind in that regard. If the neck bends from humidity, I need a hex wrench and I can fix it myself. No need to hunt down a luthier any more. This bouzouki also looks the part for sure.
If you have a main bouzouki and need a second one for outdoor gigs or as a backup, buy two of these! It's totally affordable and plays great! So great in fact, that now I just take the Matsikas to gigs and keep the vintage Dekavalas at home for recording use only.
