It is good for what it is but the clamp is not as good as I had hoped. It does not sitt securely on the stand. This is true for all three I own.

Functioning good but definitely recommend for a rechargeable model instead

I purchased the item 1.5 year ago and the original batteries already ran out of charge after just 3-4 times of usage. It's understandable and normal that this type of product accompanies by low-quality batteries. I hope I would have realised it early because nowadays I no longer use external AA/AAA batteries in any electronics. This is the reason why I put light output as 4* because it just depends on the battery charge.

If you are a new buyer, unless you already have some rechargeable AAA batteries or other AAA batteries on hand, I would definitely recommend you to switch for a directly rechargeable lamp as a more sustainable (and cheaper) choice over time.
