Wrong design

At first you think that sky is your limit with this big platform to form your dream guitar BUT the big electronic whole position based on big Les Paul makes it almost impossible to do anything beside a big Les Paul.

PLEASE make better instructions!!!

This was a very fun build until it was time to start connecting the electronics. The manual does not say which wire to connect to which. And I know almost nothing about electronics.
This could have been very simple if Harley Benton just color coded the wires.
Harley Benton REALLY need to put some time in making better instructions.

Other than that, I am satisfied.
If this problem was fixed I would have given the kit a 5 star rating.

Really good idea

A kit that the customer can shape themselves is an excellent idea and it turned out to be an excellent product.
The only real problem is the angle of the jack socket hole which makes it difficult to fit the jack socket and the cover plate. As it is the hole had to be modified and a square cover plate used. Other than that everything fitted together well.

Excellent quality

I was very pleased with the build quality – the neck fits perfectly into the pocket. The frets are all fine – no additional leveling was needed. The tuning pegs are decent enough. The other parts are very cheap, but it’s unlikely that anyone planned to use them.
I really enjoyed assembling the guitar from this kit.
