I need to find an usage for this.... Perhaps like bits of hardware for other applications. All Parts sells this for pots with cut shaft before using a screwable knob to avoid your shaft to be damaged with the screw. Until this point all is perfectly met. But now, the problem to notice. The only knob I found that will fit when you use this sleeve in combination with a pot, is the pricy Fender one. I do not see the point to buy less pricy pots + sleeves + Fender Poti-knobs and not to buy also the solid shaft pots. Final price will be more or less the same. Otherwise you can keep your pluggable knobs on the cut shaft pots and you save some money. Thomann HB brand has beautiful pluggable knobs for little money that fit the good Goldo Alpha Pots (made in Japan) and you do not need all this hassle.
Nice to have as a backup but they're a little too tall for most shafts.

These brass sleeves are great when you're out of solid shaft pots and need to use knob with a set screw. My only complaint is that they're slightly too long for most split shaft pots which means that the knobs will be positioned slightly too far above the body. It's nothing that can't be sorted with a belt sander, or even a file, but I honestly don't understand why they don't make them slightly shorter. They would work perfectly fine even if they're a little too short. But too long is a bit of a hassle.
I wanted to use it on my Tele that has split-shaft pots, but it didn't work with any of the 3-4 different screwable knobs I had, it's Allparts, so I guess it works, but keep in mind that it may not.
