Excellent Interface, but Missing Multi-Client ASIO Support
**Overall, an excellent audio interface.**
It takes a little time at first to understand how the outputs are assigned, but once everything is set up, the interface is very convenient to use. The display is clear and intuitive, and the information is easy to understand.
The only thing I find difficult to understand is why Yamaha has not released an ASIO multi-client driver. Even some more affordable audio interfaces have supported multi-client ASIO for years.
Being able to run two ASIO applications simultaneously, for example Cubase and a standalone guitar amp simulator, is an important feature for many users. It is disappointing that such a capable and well-designed interface lacks this functionality.
Otherwise, the URX44 is an excellent product. I hope Yamaha will consider adding multi-client ASIO support in a future driver update.
