Great guitar - at any price
Call me crazy, but I sold my 2010 Gibson Hummingbird and bought this one instead. It feels better, it records better, and I'm happy I switched. Yes, the Gibson is capable of amazing recorded sounds, but it also has a boomy quality that you need to be aware of when placing the microphone. The Yamaha is much more balanced and harder to get a bad sounds out of, and it is a joy to play. I love it.
