I ordered this bass last year as a b-stock in what seems to be a limited colour way (this one, but a dark version), and when it arrived, it was a completely different one. That's not too big a deal since the bass played somewhat decently except for the D and G strings, which were too high and buzzed pretty badly. Not a difficult fix, right? Well, it is when the truss rod is spun out! So, I sent it back to Thomann and got a brand new one. That one arrived, and it had the exact same issues. So, I sent it back again, but this time there was none to send to me since they were out of order until the start of this year, which had a much nicer colour scheme (the one you see advertised on here now). It came in today. behold! The bass was set up great! the correct colour! sounds great, plays great! Except for a bit of a dead spot on the D and G strings. Again, a simple fix by adjusting the truss rod, right? nope! spun out the truss rod again.
This is such a serious let down as a die hard warwick fan since this bass has the exact tone profile, fit and finish that I love. I really hope that Warwick fixes this issue because it has been either this line of bass, OR the fact that it's Chinese-made. Either way, I will sadly not be purchasing this bass again, and I sadly have to advise against this bass for anyone else as well due to the issue presented.
