Affordable but inconsistent
I'm playing professionally and I've been using these sticks for a while, mainly because they're cheaper. The overall quality is good, but every once in a while you get some really crappy sticks. But I guess, you get what you pay for. After all, I still save a lot of money buying these sticks rather than the "American Classic" or equal.
The playing experience is not substantially affected by the slightly worse quality, while playing rock on a loud kit. However, when used on a practice pad you realize the benefits of piched pairs - which they're not.

Fun
Though every drummer has their prefered drum stick type, I can say this: These have a heavy, hard hitting, and defined feel. The nylon tip makes the ride ping more. Nice. May not be as easy to controll as normal sticks though. I experienced mild loss of rebound, hence the 4 stars. Very durable. Would recommend if you want to try something new.
