TritonAudio FetHead

Jag köpte denna för att jag har en UR22C som har sämre kvalité på sina mikrofonpreamps. Så det jag gjorde var att jag beställde en FetHead. Nu kan jag driva min SM7B med betydligt lägre gain. Jag har den omkring 45% vilket jag ändå får säga är betydligt bättre än hur det är utan.

Den är liten men det ska tilläggas att beroende på hur du monterar din mikrofon så blir det en förlänging av din XLR-port på mikrofonen på ca 10 cm. Detta gör att du får överväga hur du bäst placerar in den.

Den är gjord i en solid konstruktion och med både metall och plast och båda sidorna (hona och hane) sitter stabilt i det som den är inkopplad i.

I now own two of these babies and they both perform as advertised.

They're among the cheapest on the market, WELL over half the price of a cloudlifter and yet they perform just as well. I'm using them to power sm7b and other dynamic microphones with a USB audio interface that otherwise would have too high of a noise floor.

The fact that you have the choice to plug it directly into the mic as it's an in-line device has the benefit of not needing an extra XLR cable.

There's not much else to say about it really. It does what it's supposed to and it does it well, without breaking the bank.
