Trick Drums QR Cymbal Quick Release

Acheté dans le but de faciliter les échanges de cymbales pendant les live et éviter que le papillon se barre pendant un morceau.
Retour après 2 ans d'utilisation :

- Remplis bien son rôle, attention de ne pas trop mettre de mousse pour serrer la cymbale, cela pourrait avoir tendance à faire sauter le mécanisme. Si vous ne jouez pas avec vos cymbales serrer à fond ça ne devrait pas vous poser de problème.

- La gaine centrale en contact avec la tranche de la cymbale peut s'user avec le temps si vous jouez avec de l'angle, ceci peut amener à la casse totale du système.
Mais si cela vous arrive ne le jetez pas ! Vous pouvez utilisez des gaines standard pour compléter et vous garderez toujours le système de fixation qui est très utile.

- Ne gêne pas le jeux pour aller chercher les cloches.

- Si le mécanisme se grippe, il peut être démonter pour nettoyer ou graissage.

The only downside is also the upside to these: they come off super easily. Pull up on the ring and they pop right off. I'd either pack a backup head or a traditional screw in case you (or whoever you let transport and/or set up your kit) lose the head, as there is nothing else to keep it on if you put just the slightest pressure on the release.

With that in mind, the cymbal will not pop this off. You can shake the entire stand using the cymbal as a grip, and the quick release doesn't budge. Your toddlers can spin the cymbals all they want and the attachment doesn't loosen or weaken.

There is a screw on the bottom that lets you adjust how tightly the cymbal is gripped so you don't need to trim or exchange your felt.

Without a throwaway plastic hole guard, I worry that either the metal shaft where the cymbal sits will get messed up over time or that the cymbal itself will get chipped/bent, but so far after a few weeks of use, there doesn't seem to be a problem.

excellent little device. If I tried to mill this myself, it would cost twice as much and take hours of preparation; thus, I also declare this an amazing value despite what others might consider flaws. In my personal opinion, nothing about this hardware is a flaw.
