Boing.......
I bought it to have a nice rich tone, a boing so to speak. Adding different kind of organic sounds like bells, rattles and this Singing bowl adds a little spice to your recordings.
I really like the sound of this little bowl; clear rich and calm.
The striking of the bowl creates a nice immediate ringing. You can build on this to make it 'sing' with brushing the bowl with the felt-clad hammer.
Or you can build a tone by brushing the bowl.
I am happy with my purchase and will use it both as a sampling source and just miking it up as an additional sound pallete in my music.

Skål med vackert ljud
+ Skålen avger en vacker klang. Klubban är av bra kvalitet så jag använder den även till mina andra skålar.
- Skålen har rundad botten vilket gör att man måste hålla i handen den för att få den att sjunga.
