Although I'm a beginner at the Cajon but an experienced musician and can say that it sounds pretty good. Would like more nuances and a little more of that "whirlwind" sound. Very little difference when changing from a normal to a "snare" sound. The feet were not 100% flat as they rocked a millimeter of imbalance, but could easily be fixed with an extra screw washer. The accompanying bag works quite well too. I recommend it to all beginners to semi-pros and anyone who wants to try playing the Cajon without breaking the bank.
