Cheap garbage
It got squeeky quite early on so i tried to tighten the legs a bit. That made the screw pull out the threaded socket in the leg. It's glued and can't take much torque at all (I am always careful with tightening bolts as I am used to expensive road bikes). Thomann sent me 2 new legs for free which is nice but makes me believe that they know this bench is of poor quality. I managed to tighten the new legs slightly and the squeeking went away.
A while later I raised the height a bit and it started squeeking again. This time it wasn't the legs but instead the elevation mechanism. I tried tightening one of the screws just slightly but the head of the screw broke off. Now I have a squeeky bench that can only be in the bottom position because of it.
TLDR: This is a rubbish product that will break as soon as you tighten it.
