Boosts my sm7b. I can set the gain as if it were a condenser now! Needs phantom power though. Can't complain about the sound. The only minus is that the build feels a bit flimsy and has some give to it. It doesn't really have any practical implications for me, but maybe if you need it to endure being janked around perhaps get something more expensive.

I’m satisfied with the product and the price. It could feel more sturdy. I sense that it can’t take a beating too much. Although I’ve never had an issue in the years that I’ve had it.
