Thomann E-Guitar Case BK Wood

This case is fairly well constructed and it’s dirt cheap but that doesn’t mean it’s a good buy.

It reeks of a chemical odor that has withstood one year of sunlight, vinegar, baking powder, and other ways of remedy to this problem. Used the case the other day for a rehearsal and the guitar had caught the dreadful smell during just a couple of hours in the case.

Upon stripping the lining inside I found gray foam already disintegrating glued to the plywood. The fabric lining itself also has a thin foam backing.

Surprised to no one mentioned this in the reviews, I’m dumping it at the recycling station tomorrow. Will never buy a Thomann case again.
