Thomann E-Bass Case ABS

Compared to many other hard-cases, this one is pretty cheap. Which is always nice. Because of the low price, i didn't expect much. However the case is surprisingly good. I have used this one during a lot of travels, both by car and by plane, and it has protected my bass from everything.

However the case feels kinda soft, especially in the middle of the case if you apply some pressure on it. Therefore i have not dared to burden the case with a lot of other things on it during travels. Because of this belief it's kind of scary when you travel by plane, because you never know how they treat the case and how much pressure from other bagage is put on it.

Still, for the price i recommend it. But if you want complete protection you should go up a notch in price.

Bought this case for some extra protection between gigs. It has a foam/velvet inside with two nice compartments for your accessories and a well rounded space for your instrument that suits a lot of bass types. I have transported a pointy ESP-bass, a progressive Warwick and lately a J-bass without any hassle. Only thing to note, It's bloody heavy to carry long distances with no chance of relief other than putting it don and swapping hands.

Inner lining let go after a few months. Had to stick it down with some super adhesive. Has had a few bumps by the locks but as long as push with a knee it closes with no problem. For sorter trips I take a gig bag, but for longer journeys this is awesome, so long as someone will pick me up at the station.
