Thomann 12H Ocarina Blue Sweet Potato

This is one of my favorite alto ocarinas!
I bought this one because I have good experiences with other products by this maker (Hans Rotter at Ocarina Musikhaus), and other reviews on the internet has been favorable as well.
This ocarina has a rather soft and "warm" sound; even the highest tones are clear and does not shriek easily. The breath pressure rises evenly as you go higher on the scale, but I would still describe the required breath pressure as fairly soft.
As for the ergonomics, it is easy to hold; the weight rests safely in your grip, and the shape makes it so that your right wrist is not kept at such a sharp angle as with many other ocarinas.
I have no trouble covering all the holes even though I have fairly small hands. There is also a barely noticeable hole for a string if you want to carry it around your neck.
It is all around a beautiful and perfectly good ocarina. Recommended for beginners and pros alike.
