Detta är min första bandmikrofon. Använder den mycket i min hemstudio för trummor, elgitarrer, sång och tamburin. På trummor funkar den utmärkt som mono-mick framför settet. Man får då bra virvel och kagge-ljud med dämpade cymbaler. Mikrofonen rullar av ljud vi 6 kHz. Det är praktiskt vid inspelning i rum med dålig akustik. På elgitarrer funkar den alltid. Som sångmick kan den vara för dov men som körmikrofon i en rocklåt funkar den perfekt.

Just perfect!
I use this mic on guitar, kickdrum and as room mic. I want to buy one more so I can use it in a stereo picture.
Its super cheap, it comes in a beautiful wooden case. The weight is ridiculous, its like holding a weapon. I wonder how it can be so cheap and feel so expensive. Thumbs up this mic!

Amazing ribbon microphone for the money.
Bought 2 of these just to give them a try and have compared them today vs my old Cascade Fathead II's which are darker and more coloured in the bottom + mid therefore suiting electric guitar amplifiers etc.
This RB100's sounded more detailed and uncoloured from bottom to top and better/more presence/clarity in the upper register which was exactly what I was after for purposes like recording choirs in churches w Blumlein setup + in the studio they excel on my grandpiano, nothing wrong w these at all quite the opposite they are a real bargain for the money. If you google old reviews there are some bad ones from when they frist came on the market regarding bad boxes/locks etc, they are very well made today so I totally recommend them for anyone serious about sound, I'm a soundengineer w. 38 years of experience in the best professional studios as well as freelance in Sweden.

Great mic for guitar amp
Amazing for electric guitar. This was exactly what I've been looking for.
The mic is for some reason phase reversed. That is easily fixed on most preamps or DAWS but got me a bit confused at first as the sound was very thin whith an sm57 at the same time.
