Effective, well made and good value

The t.akustik ISO base is excellent quality and I highly recommend it, I already have 3 different branded isolators and this is the best both in terms of build quality and value. Vibration in a laminated wooden floor transferring into the wooden frame of the house are my main issue but in my application, these isolators seem to have eliminated a lot of the problem resonances and cut transmission significantly and I don’t feel quite so guilty about noise transfer to my neighbouring properties now.
Very rugged construction and works well in different applications, a single unit is great under my hifi sub woofer or 2 units under bass combo, Roland Octopad or a 4x12 guitar cab. I plan to build an isolated deck for playing my drum kit and have looked at all sort of expensive semi permanent installation options, but in my opinion, for the same sort of money, 9 of these under a carpet covered plywood deck will do the business just as effectively while still remaining highly portable for use elsewhere or for resale at a later date. Very happy with purchase and the free delivery considering the weight of these units. Great service from Thomann once again. 👍👍

Heavier and bulkier than it looks! Foam on bottom and two layers on top. It's big enough in case I'll upgrade monitors in the future. Feels sturdy and will last for many years.

I bought the t.akustik ISO-Base to help reduce floor vibrations, and it really works. The sound and vibration leak is noticeably reduced in the room below my home studio. Very happy with the result

No need to break the bank

I bought the t.akustik ISO-Base to decouple my studio monitors from their stands and reduce unwanted vibrations being transferred through them.
And, realistically, that is what products like this are supposed to do. Whether they cost considerably more or not, the basic principle remains the same: they mechanically decouple the speaker from the stand or desk it is sitting on. The ISO-Base does exactly that, and does it very well.
You don't need to break the bank to achieve the kind of result this product offers. It provides a stable base, does its job effectively and, as a bonus, is surprisingly stylish and elegant for such a simple studio accessory. It looks clean and professional rather than like a piece of foam placed underneath a monitor.
Of course, it won't fix the acoustics of your room or magically transform your monitors, but that's not its purpose. If you simply need effective monitor decoupling without spending unnecessarily on a more expensive solution, the t.akustik ISO-Base is an excellent choice.
