I 'm sorry to say men this cable is not reliable.
Some time ago I bought two such cables. One was broken out of the box and I got it replaced.
Now I have made some changes in my studio, opening new recording rooms and lay down new cables in my studio.
I therefore needed the two 15 meter cables to another room and to another input on my RME Fireface 800 sound card.
I move all of these cables from ADAT 1 to ADAT 2 I / O on RME Fireface
The first thing I notice is that they are very hard, it's almost impossible to get them out. They were stuked!
And then when I was on my way to put them in the second slot connections I have a very hard time getting it in, but in the end one of them the goes in. But the other cable is completely impossible to get in. I don?t dare to push harder now, if I instead break my RME Fireface.
This is crazy because I just spent three hours moving these 15 meters long cables through the wall from the control room, through another wall, down below some kitchen furniture and a large stove, along the floor of the two-door lanes, finally to that place where my new ADAT interface is located. The new recording studio room.
I'm getting mad !!! These cables are not reliable ...... sometimes impossible to insert. I suggest that Thoman should stop selling them.
