An XLR/jack adapter is must-have in the technician toolbox when connecting your gear to new setups with every gig. Also a great way of expanding the usability of my old XLR-only multi-cable to also connect to jack ins- and outs on any mixer. Bought a whole bunch of these adapters, TRS:s, RS:s, male and female, to be covered for all possible scenarios, and they have saved me many times! Some say that the quality isn't top-notch, e.g. that the screws need frequent re-tightening but I have only experienced that with one of my adapters so I don't consider it a problem, screwdrivers are always available anyway...
