I haven't tried all too many overdrive pedals but with this one in my rig, I don't feel like I have to.

It has an amazingly sounding distortion with a clear treble and lush bass register. I use it with a Gibson SG and a Fender Strat, and this pedal brings out what I deem the best of both. It's capable of both bluesy low-drive tones, AC/DC gain or Metallica distortion.

The only drawback I can think of is that the voice-switch don't seem to do any real difference.

Honestly, for the price I think this is a no-brainer.

Jag köpte en Dark Matter på samma gång och de är två väldigt olika pedaler och rekommenderar bägge. Denna funkar som en boost det mesta av drive knoben och har en rätt mild overdrive effekt. Lät väldigt bra med rörförstärkaremulering. Ingen metal pedal direkt.

I have many overdrive pedals, everyone seems to color or/and compress the sound, not this one however. I use this pedal together with a tele and I like a raw metallic sound without extreme distortion. My TS-9 styled pedals are fine but not what I was looking for. I found it now and with little hum to.
