I bought this in the hopes it would function with the apple camera connection kit.

The ports are recognized when the USB is connected through the camera connection kit, but even though midi is sent, it is not recognized by the device. I have verified this with midi sniffers and see the traffic going through the cable, but for some reason it is not picked up in the iPad nor the iPhone. Using the cable with a PC or Mac works fine though.
