Superlux MS 200

Considering it is a professional overhead stand that I use to record professional audio with, it is incredibly cheap for its price!

It is stable, has a great reach with its heigth and length, and can still take up very little space if needed, assuming you make sure that it is supported by one of its legs when extending its arm. (You can also counterbalance the other end of the arm if needed)

I would recommend this stand if you want to be able to record professional audio for commercials or similar work when working in tight spaces.

I purchased this stand to use for stereo miking, especially OH drums, and so far it has done its job smoothly. The stand is very large and heavy, but not overly so if you need long horizontal reach and/or are using heavy microphones. Easily adjustable, and once set, the microphones don't creep. Granted, I haven't used really heavy microphones, but I have extended the boom almost to its maximum.

Be warned that this stand is of such a size and weight that it's not easily stored together with your regular song mic stands.

Det går alltid trixa och fixa så det går ändå, men har du yta så underlättar det enormt, och då rekommenderar jag dessa som överhängs-stativ alla dagar i veckan. Har själv 2.

I’m really impressed with the Superlux MS 200. It’s super sturdy and does exactly what I need it to do without any fuss. The build quality is solid, and it can easily handle heavier microphones without tipping over, which is a huge plus. The adjustable height and boom arm give me plenty of flexibility for different setups, whether I’m sitting, standing, or trying to mic up an instrument. It feels reliable and just works—what more could you ask for in a mic stand? Highly recommend it!

I use these stands for some heavy tube mics where normal, lighter stands won't do it. Mainly as over heads for drums but also if I want the mics higher up or further away than I can get them with normal stands.
They do take up much more floor space than regular stands and they need more space all around.
I have had two of these for about two years or so and I have no remarks on build quality, I use them regularly and move them up and down a lot and still no sign of bad quality.
