Looks amazing, sounds okay.

I gotta be honest. I bought this guitar primarily for the way it looks. My thinking was the Firebird-esque body along with the weird rounded headstock and the amazing Pueblo Pink color scheme would look amazing on stage and look quite unique. And indeed it does. If only the sound could be as impressive...

For an almost 900€ price tag, I was expecting this guitar to pack a little bit more punch in the sound department. It doesn't sound bad, mind you, I just would have liked for the sound to have a bit more clarity and brightness to it. As it is, the guitar sounds a bit "muddy" (maybe muddy is too aggressive of a descriptor, but it's the only one I can think of right now), which might be what you want if you're looking for a raw, almost garage-y sound. I am by no means an expert in the technical aspects that make up a guitar's sound but suffice it to say I bought a Vintage Reissued V58 a while ago and for half the price it sounds like it should cost twice as much.

I'd say what this guitar lacks in sound quality it more than makes up for in build and looks. The tuners are top notch, and the tremolo works like a charm. Maybe some frets needed a little bit of polishing out of the box, but not in a way that would hinder one's playing too much.

Overall, if you have the money to spend on a somewhat overpriced guitar that looks and feels absolutely amazing but sounds a bit underwhelming, this is the guitar for you. I'm not saying this with any irony whatsoever, I love this guitar. But I wouldn't like someone to think this sounds like an equivalently priced Fender, for instance, because, at least to my ears it doesn't.
