SSL X-Delay:

• Delay with four taps inspired by digital delay devices from the 1980s
• Delay time, level, panorama and ping-pong effect can be selected for each delay tap
• Individually synchronisable delay times per tap
• Multiplier parameter for changing all delay times together in the same ratio
• Up to 150 % feedback enables experimental effects in combination with freeze and kill
• Complementary saturation effect as well as modulation, diffusion and de-esser
• Hi- and Lopass filter as well as adjustable stereo base width and adjustable effect component

SSL X-Echo:

• Echo effect inspired by the first tape echo devices from the 1960s
• Emulates the classic characteristics of hardware tape echoes, including loop EQ, gentle clipping, slight tape noise and self-oscillation at feedback values above 100%
• Four switchable tone heads for numerous delay variants
• Delay times can be easily entered in note values
• Wow & Flutter control enables tape-like analogue artefacts
• Saturation control for classic SSL-typical distortion
• Freeze and kill function enable the creation of risers and drops for recordings and live performances
• Special diffusion controller with new reverb algorithm
• Integrated de-esser to reduce the sibilant frequencies often accentuated by tape echoes
