It's a cable

I needed a guitar cable, i ordered a guitar cable and i got a guitar cable. In fact a 9m cable changes the tone of your guitar, if you don't like it, you should get a shorter one. The reason, why i use the "Sommer Cable The Spirit XXL" is, that they are very solid, i have had enough issues with broken cables, but these seem to be of better quality.

No need to buy anything more expensive...!

Unbelievable quality cable, easily one of the best I have seen. The cable itself is very durable and well insulated. The plugs are also very strong and well made, adding to the quality and reliability of the product. In the past few years I have tried many of the expensive cable brands, including George L, Eminence, Lava etc. While it is true that the cable can sometimes be the weak link in the chain of your rig, in my opinion it is also true that you really don't need to spend crazy money on cables that at best will represent a marginal improvement. The Sommer is the proof of this for me and I do not intend to spend more money for cables in the future

Strong high-quality cable

The Spirit XXL is a very good solid-built high-quality cable! I use it for almost half a year and it works really good, sound is much better than the cheap cables i had before. It is a bit stiff, but if you coil it the right way, i keeps lying on the ground as it should.

The Spirit mit Esprit

Das ist mein absolutes Lieblingskabel zum Gitarre spielen! Die Länge von 9 m lässt mir die Bewegungsfreiheit, die ich brauche und durch den hohen Aderquerschnitt von 0,75 mm² gibt es praktisch kaum ohmschen Verlust. Die mechanische Verarbeitung von Sommer Kabeln ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Das Material des Kabels ist griffig, geschmeidig und relativ schwer. Durch das hohe Gewicht legt sich das Kabel schön auf den Boden und macht keine Probleme. Die Farbe nennt sich zwar Smoke, es ist aber an sich eine Art bräunliches, transparentes Grau - aber das spielt ja keine so große Rolle.
Die Schirmung des Kabels arbeitet vermutlich perfekt, da ich nie Probleme mit irgendwelchen Einstreuungen bei diesem Kabel hatte. Die Kapazität meines 9 m Kabels sind gemessene 830pF, was für Kabel mit dieser Lange ein recht niedriger Wert ist und für die PUs keine zu große kapazitive Last darstellt. Der Ton der Gitarre wird durch das Kabel meines Erachtens nicht ungünstig beeinflusst. Der ohmsche Widerstand ist dabei gemessene 0,4 Ohm. Die Stecker von Neutrik arbeiten ebenfalls perfekt und sind stabil. Die Kabeloberfläche ist glatt und glänzend und fühlt sich ab und zu etwas klebrig an. Tritte und Gezerre steckt das Kabel - bis jetzt - klaglos weg. Der Preis ist angesichts der gebotenen Qualität in Ordnung - das Kabel wird vermutlich eine hohe Lebensbauer haben, falls ich nicht irgendwo einzwicke oder scharf abknicke.
