Sennheiser...it was better before!
I've been using teh old RS120 RS130 (RS 5?) for decades for recording vocals. Perfect when you don't have to trip over wires. Perhaps not perfect in sound but , the old radio technology had 0 delay!! The did the job for many years.
So I upgraded to 175 thinking I would get the same i a new package.
I think these are to be used as advertised : for TV , period.
The RS 175 has to much delay so they cant be used in a studio.
The drivers in the headphones are probably great but the housing/ the earcups selfresonate in a weird way. Tap the cup and the entire thing goes "booing!" in your head.
Shame, used to be great.
Maybe the cheaper RS 120 are more like the older models?
