Great mics for stereo and drum OH
I have owned these for about a year. I use them solely for drum OH. They work perfect for this. I would say they have a very neutral sound - I post process by low cutting and placing a narrow peak cut somewhere between 200 and 500 hz to remove boxiness. And that's it - great OH sound. I reckon these works well for other instruments as well. For example acoustic guitars. But I haven't tried that yet.
Another thing about them is the size. For drum OH I place them on a set of cheap K&M stands. I think that any mic stand that can support its own weight, will work. They are very easy to place. This is an important factor for example when you need to place them in same distance from the snare in order to avoid phase cancellation. But it also makes it quite easy to be creative with how they are placed.

Very good drum mics
I use my set on hi-hat and ride, with good results. Good build quality, lightweight and some nice features (noice pad and low frequency cutting). The sound quality is much improved compared to previous microphones I used.

Extremely good for the price
Wonderful and versatile microphones. I've used them for drum overheads (both studio and live), acoustic guitar, harp, choir, didgeridoo, percussion, field recordings and foley. They can be a little bit noisy on very quiet sources though, but besides from that they're great.
