It works fine, but..

Costly but it gets the job done is the short review of this plastic ball.

It's a bit too tight fit for the audio-technica BP4025 as the top of the microphone pushes against the top of the ball. This could affect the sound you record.

But does it still work? yes it does! it makes for a compact and very portable wind protected microphone you can easily carry with you. It can't handle storm strength winds but it can handle normal wind strengths like 3-7m/s very well, perhaps even more.
