Roth & Junius RJVC Double Violin Case BK 4/4

I wanted a double violin case for one chinese beginner instrument and an old Swedish violin and gambled on this since it was the cheapest in price. Here are the pros and cons..

+ Very good build
+ Very sturdy and safe. I would use this for the best violins I have for regular commute.
+ Space for 4 bows is a plus.
+ Functional hygrometer.
+ String holder tube (I would never use this but to each, their own.)

- The cut out for the violin is too small. It didn't fit my swedish violin which is a few mils longer overall compared to a standard violin. I had to compress the foam around the lower and upper bout positions in order to fit the instrument in. Now it barely fits but without the chin rest. Since I usually play without a chin rest, bu if you are someone who does, think about having to attach and remove the rest every time you put your instrument in the box.

I would have been less disappoined if the case was built poorley and it was too small given it's price. Now it is a pity that such a good case for a cheap price is too small.
