Very good considering the price

Excellent performance for voiceover and dialog. Great for steel acoustic guitar. It is a bit colored, and that can be a problem with instrument. Handels SP not that well. The sound gets compressed and thin somehow.

I've tried it on almost everything in a studio. It's my "go to" for low key song (think leonard cohen during the 1980s) and steel guitar.

Handels post prod ok.

It's built very well. Had it for some years now and it might look like crap, all bent n stuff, but it still delivers.

A cheap but good quality shotgun if you aren't looking for the top off the line stuff. I would have preferred a super cardioid pattern for extra focus on what the mic is picking up. Besides that the sound is very good without too much noticeable coloring.
