Change the feel of your pedal.
I replaced the chain on my DW 9000 pedal with this strap. My experience is that the strap gives you a lighter feel and that the respons is quicker compared to a chain. Still, the feel of the pedal is as distinct as before. If you like things that are easily driven, this might be a solution. The mylar material in the strap prevents it from stretching I believe. The only downside is that it was a bit too wide for my DW 9000 and I had to trim it with a carpet knife.
