- With small hard mallets, the singing bowl becomes very dominant in the overtone range - all the bright tones are clearly brought out
- With thicker, soft mallets, the bowl sounds much deeper and the strongly dominant low frequencies can be heard and felt
- This bowl is suitable for use with a variety of different mallet techniques on the whole body
