The boom arm on this mic stand is nearly impossible to use with heavier microhphones - if using the boom arm in a horizontal position. At some point you don't dare to tighten it any further, as that will only break it.
But, the price is good, and the mic stand is quite usable with lighter microphones - at least when looking for a cheap alternative.

Plastic fantastic

Did its job for a while then just fell apart. Cheap plastic stuff but for the price I can't complain.

Poorly put together

Ordered two of these, and found that on one of them the threaded endpin (the one the mic holder screws onto) wasn't properly seated all the way into the tubing, and so the threaded washer doesn't actually lock the mic holder as it goes off the threads. The rest of the joints also fit together poorly, making the stand jiggly. Cheap, but justifiably so because it just isn't all that good.
