Doesn't have to be headphones you know...
Having a place to hang your headphones is rather nifty, ones you get holder up you know what you have been missing.
It can clamp on securly for most surfaces and is not flimsy nor unstable.
Hanging your headphones up is allot better than laying them down on whatever surface you feel accomodating. They wont be knocked down nor be in the way if you place the hanger right.
And as I said, you can hang other things on it as well that you need ready, cables or your cap maybe.
