What a beauty

I snapped my neck screw and was going to replace it with a boring simple one . Then I found this. It is rock solid, looks great and the finish matches my unlacquered alto. Some may say it alters the sound and makes it more focused and centralised etc etc but I think that is a load of old hogwash. It just looks and feels better. job done

Erzeugt leicht größeren Blaswiderstand

Erstmal passt die Schraube super bei den Yamaha-Saxophonen. Und durch den größeren Durchmesser (im Gegensatz zur Standart-Schraube) lässt sich der Hals leichter und schneller befestigen. Das ist schon mal ganz gut.
Man hat das Gefühl, dass durch das größere Gewicht am Hals/Body-Übergang der Blaswiderstand leicht größer ist. Und dass der Sound dadurch ein klein wenig voller wird, ist wohl auch eher ein Gefühl. Bei Aufnahmen konnte ich das jetzt nicht direkt nachweisen, es geht wirklich eher um das Spielgefühl. Aber das ist positiv verändert.
