Might technically be wood, but not good wood
It's incredibly flimsy. I'm honestly not even sure this is plywood, it feels way too light. It feels apart from the weight and pressure of putting down a soprano ukulele (also mahalo). If you put the ukulele down carefully and don't touch the stand, it might stand for a while but it often just falls apart or the connecting parts disconnect and make it unstable.
