Mad Professor Royal Blue Overdrive

I was looking for a OD with proper treble and bass controls to go with my Suhr Badger 35, which needs a bit of eq with dirt to sound great.

This pedal sounds absolutely great! They advertise it as touch sensitive when set to mild gain levels and I find that to be true. I can be set in a variety of ways and it still sounds nice. Currently I run it with the treble quiet high and bass at 10 o'clock and that gives me a very nice blues tone which easily cuts through the mix without sounding harsh.

For an extra kick I boost it with a tube screamer, and that works great.

If you're looking for high gain then look elsewhere, I don't think it sounds very good with the gain set to high.

For those looking for a very unique sounding OD for blues and rock then I suggest giving this a try!
