My yamaha hs8 broke down so i buy this its very nice allround speaker to musice nhl hockey movies etc but its a bit bassy even if i turn it down 4db I dont recomend it to some who mix music as proffetional but in hobbi alround, as i said to watch movies and some its nice. hs 7 i recomend same preseklass if u wand a bit boring sound but it do the freqvens job better. But for the price its all good. ! you defently do not need a subwofer on this one!
