Knobloch Strings Erithacus line EDC34.0 MHT

These strings have a lovely warmth and perform in a very musical way. The trebles are (as usual when it comes to carbon strings) bright, but in a pleasant way, not harsh or disturbing. The 3:rd strings rings beautifully. Earlier I have tried carbons from D’Addario (good, but a bit metalic) and Savarez (nice, but an overly bright 1:st string that feels hard to handle in my opinion). This Knobloch set is well balanced and I think I have now find the best solution for my 1998 Kazuo Sato guitar. Maybe the intonation is not the best, but I can certainly live with that when the strings have such radiant tonal quality and feel so alive, responding so well to my musical intentions.
