Joyo MA-10B Portable Bass Amp

I bought this to hear myself practicing at home. A purpose for which this amp works beautifully.

You won’t get a lot of volume out of this but it’s not built for that anyway. You probably won’t mic this amp up in the studio either, but again that’s most likely not why you purchased this unit.

It works great as a little amp to practice with and the option to run it with batteries also makes it a great little campfire amp if you are inclined to bring your bass outside and maybe play with your buddy on the acoustic guitar.

The build quality is pretty flimsy and plastic and it probably won’t stand much rough handling.

The features it offers it the option to run it from batteries and a drive button. It doesn’t distort much but I think that’s good as that probably would not sound great on a tiny speaker. What you get with the drive function is a little bit more volume and a subtle overdrive.

It does what’s advertised pretty much. Great to practice with and I also think it looks pretty cool.
