Jensen C12N Ceramic Vintage 8Ohm

Good sounding Jensen speaker. I've tried an alnico P12Q for my 5E3 Deluxe clone but I never got into the super midrangey sound. The ceramic Jensens is more my cup of tea, more upper mids and bell-like highs. One thing to keep in mind with new Jensens (or any brand of speaker for that matter) is that they need a break-in period. Most say atleast 24-25 hours, but its more like 120 hours. This seems to be why most people dislike the reissues of Jensens, go figure - the old ones have been broken in for decades, no wonder they sound better! So have patience and stick a loop or play some music thru it for a couple of days, then you have a nicely broken in speaker.
